Item Description:
Bright yellow, with a surprising amount of brilliant luster on both sides, creating a faux cameo appearance, or at least causing the design elements to stand out. Above average strike, although the die has the usual weakness at U of UNITED and the 5 of the date. This is an important grade for this date, as NGC has certified only 25 coins finer, the best being six in MS-63. Mintage for the year was a low 3,477 coins.
